Companies move to hide vegetables in favorite foods
  • For those parents who feel like it is a battle to get their child to eat vegetables, Kraft has an answer to your pleas.  The recently introduced new line of macaroni and cheese hides a 1/4 cup of cauliflower in the sauce.  Processed food companies adding vegetables to their products is a growing trend, and the opinions run from praise to castigation.  Whatever your stance, the fact is that these products are flying off shelves and opening up a new market that will be sure to produce fascinating products, and a whole lot more contentious debates.

    No matter what your view, getting people talking about the realities of the American diet and being proactive about improving it is definitely a step in the right direction.
